Re:	Section 301 Tariffs / Price Increase

With the recent announcement from the US Department of Commerce to impose 25% tariffs on Chinese products, effective the 6th of July, we find ourselves in a difficult situation. These tariffs are part of Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 to protect technology transfers, intellectual property and innovation in the high tech world. Somehow this escalated to include several of Matco-Norca’s products listed below.

As a result, we will be raising the list prices on these products by 25% effective July 6, 2018 and we will not be able to offer any price protection, grace periods or back orders at the old price.
